The following items are required:
- Dustless cloth
- Absolute alcohol of more than 98% concentration
- Dust-free cotton swabs
- Masking tape
- New protective lenses
Steps to replace the protective lens:
Step 1 - Wipe
Moisten the dustless cloth with alcohol (cover the cap of the alcohol bottle in time to avoid accidentally knocking over), and gently
wipe the surroundings of the protective lens with a dustless cloth.
The purpose of this process is to prevent dust from entering the cavity during disassembly.
Step 2 - Remove
First seal the nozzle with masking tape, gently pull out the protective lens drawer, and use masking tape to seal the cavity to
prevent dust from entering.
Remove the protective lens by turning it counterclockwise, and place the lens on a dustless cloth.
Step 3 - Cleaning
Clean the inside of the protective lens drawer by gently wiping it with a dust-free cotton swabs.
Step 4 - ReplaceTake out the new protective lens, wipe it gently with a swab dipped in absolute alcohol, and pay attention to wipe
in one direction. Then gently cover the protective lens insert on the protective lens and install the tabletting.
Step 5 - Install
Tear off the masking tape, gently insert the protective lens insert into the cavity, and lock it with hexagonal screws.
Note: Please be sure to follow the replacement steps above, otherwise it may cause damage to the focusing lens, resulting
in the need for rework of the torch head, resulting in costs and downtime losses.
Use the following preventive measures on a daily basis:
Before removing the protective lens, make sure that the window around the protective lens of the torch head is clean, and no fan blows in the direction of the torch head, so as to avoid dust being brought into the torch head by the airflow when the protective lens is removed, causing internal pollution.
Do not install lenses with bare fingers, wear powder-free finger cots or rubber/latex gloves.
When taking the protective lens, do not touch the film layer and the lens surface, you should hold the edge of the lens, and
place the lens on the lens cleaning paper.
Talking over the lens should be avoided and all contaminants should be kept out of the work environment as much as possible.
When cleaning the lens, try to operate in a dust-free environment (detergents such as absolute ethanol will only dissolve dirt
and will not cause damage to the lens).
